Healthy Eating at Hamilton Nursery

Here at Hamilton Nursery we believe the quality of the food children eat is essential to their health and well-being.

Therefore our experienced cooks prepare all the meals at the nursery and take great pride in creating balanced menus.  These change on a regular basis which allows all the children to experience and explore new tastes, flavours, and textures.

Using only the highest quality, fresh, natural ingredients, our cooks are also careful to reduce refined sugar and salt in all meals.

It is important that children learn where food comes from. This includes learning how fruit and vegetables grow and where they are from.

Meal times are a very important part of the day. Children get to experience all parts of the process, from the preparation of food, to setting the table and of course sitting down to eat with one another.
